All plans that are recommended will meet the standards set out by the Equity Release Council

This is an independent organisation that specialises in equity release and sets strict standards to protect customers.

All approved equity release plans come with a standard set of safety guarantees which include:

With a lifetime mortgage you can continue to live in your home and still maintain 100% ownership

Be able to move your plan to another suitable property without any financial penalty, subject to criteria

The guarantee that you’ll never fall into negative equity

Your estate will never owe more than the property is worth when it is sold

We provide initial advice for free and without obligation. Only if you choose to proceed and your case completes would a typical fee of £1,695 be payable.

Equity Release may involve a home reversion or a lifetime mortgage, which is secured against your property.

Please note, Equity Release requires paying off any existing mortgage. Any money released, plus accrued interest would be repaid upon death, or moving into long term care.
